Barnes & Noble has issued a press release pledging continued support and development of Nook products and touting the release of a new Nook product (or more) for the holiday season.

It's a bold move for Barnes & Noble and I'm not sure it'll pay off. I think too many consumers have already written off the Nook brand, and this seeming reversal of policy introduces confusion into the market

I just bought a nook hd+ a few months back when they price dropped them. Hell I liked mine so much I gave my mom one too.

Great little tablets.

I did it all for the nookie

I had the nook with glow light since it came out always worked fine for me. Hopefully they can keep up with the times.

Yup, Much prefer the Nook Simple Touch w/Glowlight over the Kindle Paperwhite

Give me actual, physical, buttons to change pages as an option.

I like how they are having the hardest time deliberating of releasing a number one above from nothing at all. One for sure we will release! Maybe even another! Not really a sign of a booming success.
