Google was reported this week to have purchased wearable technology patents owned by Foxconn (Hon Hai Precision Industry Co.) in what appears to be a move to tie up loose ends prior to beginning production on Google Glass.
The move comes about a month after Google invested in chipmaker Himax to help boost production of the company's liquid crystal on silicon chips and modules, which are in Google Glass.
