Subscribers to the Ubuntu Forum have just had all of their personal information stolen from the database. Only the Ubuntu Forums were breached and does not affect any other Ubuntu/Canonical service unless you reused your password.

The notice said "every user's local username, password and email address" from their database was stolen.

Feds need to get as much info as possible since they don't have the cooperation from the linux communities as they do from MS and Apple. :p

At least it was only unimportant data.

Became a dumpy place to post a long time ago.

How come Ubuntu forum is still down? I'm sure they have some of the best geeks minding the shop, I suspect an inside job.
