Need a mini-ITX chassis for your next HTPC build? Techgage has the Lian Li PC-Q12 on the test bench and they seemed to really like it.

Building a small yet powerful PC has never been easier, thanks to the increasing popularity of feature-packed mini-ITX motherboards. They've never been more attractive, either, as Lian Li's PC-Q12 mini-ITX proves. So, let's dig in and see if the chassis' features are as attractive as its aesthetics.

Always loved Lian-Li, but its lame they didn't put a place for a disc drive (at least a slot load). It would have made an awesome HTPC case...

You know, I didn't bother installing an optical drive in my last desktop build, and haven't missed it. The only optical drives actually hooked up in my apartment are the 3 Bluray drives in one of my rack servers, and only get used whenever I happen upon a new movie I want to rip. Everything else I buy in downloadable format. Optical media is way too slow for installs.
