Damn, we almost made it through the week without a billion dollar lawsuit. :(

The unit, Lehman Brothers OTC Derivatives Inc (LOTC), posted $1 billion in cash collateral to Intel also as part of the agreement. The agreement specified that Intel would be compensated for losses in case of early termination of the deal. According to the filing, Intel maintained that Lehman was to deliver "$1 billion in Intel common stock," but Lehman argued that the agreement was to deliver 50.5 million of Intel shares irrespective of the dollar value.

"A verbal agreement isn't worth the paper it's written on." Where's the contract?

Who wants to bet that they waiting until now to sue so they were clear of the bankruptcy in case they get some of this back?

I have so much Lehman material to punish them with, what would you like to hear first? The hidden bank accounts written directly for Politicians and Executives that goes straight into $50,000 Manhattan escorts? To which some of you guys might scratch your head and think I'm joking, but sadly I can only wish it were so...

The Intel lemmings have responded and they're not happy.

Dear Lehman Brothers: you happily screwed all your creditors a few years ago. Shut the fuck up.
