You can talk about DDoS attacks in the abstract, but what do you think an actual attack would look like? A VideoLAN developer has turned a DDoS attack into a Logstalgia representation showing a massive attack being fought off by the server in a way that is very easy to comprehend.

It helps to understand it by watching the normal video first. It does give a nice visual to the concept of "firewall".
