Google Glass Already Hacked

When I can attach a smartdevice to the rim of my Italian designer prescription glasses, then we can talk. Glass as it stands right now is pretty like the XP tablet back in 2001.

Not quite there... yet

In the article it says the google glass is already starting to get banned. I'm not sure if we're ready to have a camera on everyone at all times. Which is what will happen if glass becomes really popular.

I guess they missed Patch Tuesday......maybe they should've updated their AV.....I'll bet Apple has something in their app store that will take care of it

Let the copious amounts of porn injected directly at my eyeball commence....(not that Google has the same policy in that regard as Apple and that I feel a hack will really be necessary to watch porn on these things once they reach the general market :p ) .

Why do developers even waste their time? It doesn't matter what type of DRM, anti-piracy, or closed architecture they use, it always gets hacked. The hacks are usually always easy to install, even for novice users. So the idea of protecting something from "casual copyright infringement" is completely pointless now days and hasn't been relevant for a long time. If from the beginning they did not waste any time trying to lock people out and instead spent that time making the product better, how much better could it be?

The technology will get smaller and more powerful. So yeah, you will clip it onto your designer glasses, etc, eventually.

Also, the anti-tech for this is the same as any video or digital camera.... high power infra-red strobe lights, that blind the camera sensors so nothing but a white blob gets recorded.

But eventually everyone will be equipped with a Human Dash-Cam.:rolleyes::p

Google glass videos make you realize how boring most people are... Also when you watch the videos of them you keep expecting him to pull out a gun or be attacked by something, which never happens. It makes the videos like watching the worlds most boring video game where nothing happens ever, even more dull than the opening to HL2. :(

Holy shit, I just realized these would be perfect for movie pirating.

2 Apple comments in a Google thread within the first 5 replies. success!!!
