Connecting a 9.7" iPad Retina display to a computer

Not sure how useful a 2048x1536 9.7" screen at that density is on Windows, but definitely seems interesting. $70 total for a super nice IPS screen, too.

nice stuff. wonder if the larger retina laptop screens are avaliable for somewhat similat price too tho

I really want to do this but rip out the lcd panel and use it for a home made projector. Only thing is I don't know how if its possible to remove the panel from the backlight or if they used adhesive to put the thing together.
