It's getting really difficult keeping up with all the recent Kickstarter activity within the gaming industry as of late, but CONSORTIUM really stuck out to me.
It's a FPS RPG built on the Source engine that takes place within an interactive micro-environment called the Consortium C-3800-D ZENLIL, which is an aircraft.

Overview - Developed by Interdimensional Games (iDGi)

CONSORTIUM is a role-playing game in which you are able to role-play as yourself.
You are you (as in you can speak as yourself, a man/woman from "our world") and you're being given the opportunity to physically control a man from a parallel world.
This man is first day Consortium field agent Bishop Six, operative for a powerful peacekeeping force in a not-quite-utopia future of 2042.

You have total control over the Bishop's inventory, medical state, and the state of all his weapons, armor and equipment.
You can also customize his Battle Utility Suit with hard-point devices such as personal deflector shields and shock absorbers.

You must also manage and balance the Bishop's Utility Energy, with which he can power everything from medical nanites to energy weapons...
as well as Storage Energy, which represents stored items such as armor, weapons and ammunition.

White beard guy reminds me of Kyle what's his face from the Jedi Knight games.

might be fun but gfx looks so cheap looking.

I would say that's purely subjective. Granted Source is a little long in the tooth, I would say it looks average for an indie title and as we all know, graphics don't make a game ;)

Thread necro, this game is now released and I am quite interested.

Anyone here play it yet?

There aren't really any reviews out there of it yet but the previews and impressions seem quite positive if you aren't looking for super graphics or an action game.

People are saying it's more like an episode of Star Trek/Farscape, etc where it's more focused on talking with your crew, getting ot know people, build characters, mysteries, etc.
