The iconic Frommer’s Travel Guides will continue in print back under the guidance of Arthur Frommer, the man who started the business back in the 1950’s. Google bought the Frommer brand from John Wiley & Sons, but never intended to publish the travel guides. 83 year old Arthur Frommer on the other hand, does.

So it seems both parties are happy with the deal – Google has pulled from the books all the information it wanted for its own services, and Arthur Frommer reunites with the brand he created and built over many years of his life.

That is pretty nice, I mean it was a smart move for Google to sell it instead of just sitting on it, and it seems like everyone is happy with how it ended up. Not that any companies would just sit on something just so noone else could do anything with it.

Good move by Google. Might as well let someone else use it if they do not intend to do so.

I wished the owner of STALKER ip would do the same:rolleyes:

I'm sure EA would be willing to buy Stalker and churn out a few dozen quality games.
