BioShock Infinite $200M Budget Rumor Denied

The more money invested into a game, the more epic and amazing it better be. At the very least, it better not suck.

If that is the real number though, I'm thinking it's more like this:

$1 million - actual development
$199 million - marketing hype to drive sales

That's not how it went for SWTOR. I admit it was fun for a while but end game just died. Not enough to keep my interest in it. Plus it was too quick to level. What I think they should have done was make it slower to level and have a better questing system.
 
It's doubtful this even topped 50m in costs, given the cycle length and studio involved.
