If you are a user of the note taking and archiving service Evernote, the site has come under a hack attack. According to Today’s blog post, the company feels that no damage was done or personal information was compromised since the attack was caught in the early stages.

As a security precaution, however, it is requiring all users to reset their passwords when they log in. Until they do, Evernote’s commonly used browser plugins will not work.
 
If someone really wanted my recipe notes and other miscellaneous clutter that is at no way important, they could have just asked.

I hope no-one actually stores important data on there. But we all know that some do.
 
well looks like all my notes from applied cryptography 433 and A.I 488 are in the wild :rolleyes:
 
I like that they forced users to change their passwrod instead of just asking them to. I bet most users never do.
