I too, am in the market for a new monitor, and cant really find a good answer for what I want, or find a lot of conflicting information. I had my mind set on the Dell S2740L until I started reading about the ghosing problems.

Current Monitor: Acer AL2216W
Will be used for: Internet browsing, gaming (almost all Guild Wars 2) and occasional Blu-Ray viewing. Nothing intensive or crazy. Does not NEED to be 3D.
Size Requirement: I'm wanting to step up to a 27 inch.
Time Frame for Purchase: Now, ASAP, this month.
Must have items: Nothing I can think of other than HDMI or DVI, but pretty much everything has that now. If something out there was to also have S-Video, that would be awesome.
I'm looking for serious recommendations and help. Even more so if you have similar "needs" as me and have a great new monitor. Only special requirement is that I need to be able to order this from Newegg. Ideas?
