Accurate "Top Ten" List?

Anyone know where a benchmark-backed list of the top video cards can be found?

I generally go to passmark.com but I am wondering how accurate that list is. Anyone else have a favorite resource for this sort of thing?

their current top ten list looks like this:
#1 GeForce GTX 680
#2 GeForce GTX 670
#3 GeForce GTX 580
#4 Radeon HD 7970
#5 GeForce GTX 690 (Shouldnt this be number 1?)
#6 GeForce GTX 660 Ti
#7 7900M MOD - Radeon HD 7970M
#8 Radeon HD 7950
#9 GeForce GTX 570
#10 GeForce GTX 480

that list isn't even close to a performance based list.

the 7990 isnt on it either,
here is a review of the 690 vs the 7990. ( apples to apples )

Thats a pretty loaded question..

its not something you really ask anymore... games can be so vendor specific nowdays that you really have to look at the games you want or games that matter and then ask the question.

IMO

if you sum up all of the benchmarks and all of the testing you'd probably see a aggregate listing like this

1. 7970
2. 680
3. 670/7950

etc.. etc..

not even going to guess at xfire/sli since each of them have their own specific issues that aggregating the list would be pointless.

Find the games you play most and read and ask how the experience is

that is they way i would rank them. amd has made some great improvements with their drivers.

from what ive heard from people, they have made insane improvements in the driver department since they stopped forcing releases once a month and just release drivers when they're ready now

1. 7970
2. 680
3. 670
4. 7950

Single GPU with latest drivers on both sides its generally the above, certainly specific games can change the order.
