Looking for a DIY watercooling kit? The crew at Vortez have the XSPC RayStorm 750 RS360 kit in house for a little review action. Here's a quote from the review:

Seeing a gap in the market, XSPC, a respected name in the custom watercooling arena, have put together a variety of their own components to create packages that take the hassle out of configuring your own custom watercooling setup by selecting all the components for you, right down to the nuts and bolts of the setup so the only thing you will need to add is water.

Isn't it awful late to be reviewing the 750 kit...with it's widely known flawed pump now that the D5 kits are out?

Perhaps but HardOCP was simply sharing the review and did not do a review on that cooling kit. Another website did the review.

What's wrong with the pumps?

The early revisions(read V1,2,3) had above normal critical failure rates of the included pump, leaving many with dead cpus etc...The newest version, V4, uses a nylon res in place of acrylic, and a completely redesigned pump: new ceramic impeller, bearing, housing etc..The kit in the listed review still has the older revision res/pump combo..
