If you spend any time at Starbucks, and we know some of you do, you'll really like this idea.

These stores will have a “limited time in-store trial for wireless charging,” Starbucks chief digital officer Adam Brotman told the Boston Globe. ”We’re building the Powermat technology into some of the tabletops, just to get a sense for how our customers will react, compared to having to plug their mobile devices into the wall.” However if you don’t already have an accessory for your phone that allows it to use inductive charging, Starbucks will likely do some in-store giveaways and keep loaners on hand behind the counter.

Test better coffee and tea. I can go get 100 bags of tea at the local asian market that is several steps above anything at Starbucks for the same price as a single latte. Being able to recharge my Fleshlight on the go doesn't make up for that.

If I put my over-priced, burnt-roasted starbucks coffee in a metal cup on the charging pad, can I boil my coffee any more? :D
