This guy threw an Intel DZ77RE-75K motherboard into a washing machine and ran it through a cycle. I have no idea why...but he did. This dude's laundry will smell like motherboards for a year.

That's a good way to screw up a washing machine.

Orphans in Ghana that huddle in cardboard boxes near e-waste dumps. You say that like it's a bad thing. Who doesn't like the smell of new electronics?
I saw that it had bent pins on the socket. Probably Intel wouldn't RMA it.

the sockets don't have pins, hence the "socket" name, only CPU's have pins.

Did he test it? I wonder what the odds are that it still works somehow.
in the shape it was, it won't work.
my box dropped once cause of my dog and the case hit the floor, nothing bent, except the case, but it would not boot.
yeah, sometimes the internal electrons get jostled too much and are then out of alignment - causing a no boot scenario.
