I have just put together my new system, a P9X79 Pro, 3930k and 16GB of DDR3 2133.
When I turn on the system, I just get a black screen on POST and when I press del to go into BIOS, its similar when you change resolution, it's almost like the system can't display the BIOS and POST.
However, when POST is over the system seems to work, it picks up the old installation of Windows on my HDD. In addition when I do a mem test that displays and when I first powered on, the new CPU message displayed.
I am using a GDM-FW900 via VGA and a Hazro HZ27WC via DVI.
