Hewlett Packard has turned to Microsoft’s Robert Youngjohns in its search for a new head of HP’s acquisition of Autonomy software unit. Youngjohns comes to HP as the past President of Microsoft’s North American operations.

Youngjohns will also be responsible for promoting and helping the announced integration of the Autonomy/IM unit into HP Software as it reorganizes itself into a single business.

Autonomy. As in Connected?

Why the hell would HP buy that place.
