Ugh. Thunderbolt better start coming down in price. I'm all about adopting, but $50 a port is stupid. You wouldn't pay extra for a USB 3 vs. USB 2 port, would you?
I guess I'll just keep rocking my Q9550 until the next generation of intel's hardware comes out. Hopefully, by then, manufacturers won't think they can charge a premium for a plug.
