No reviews on any 4GB versions, you know why? because the vram doesnt make any difference, so they don't want users to actually see that, that's all.
Don't waste time and just get the 2GB version, this cards are bandwidth limited and no additional vram will help you.
psyside..........It sure will if your running higher RES..
Im loking at getting one of the Korean 27" IPS Crossover 2650 x 1440 so maxing out a few settings might just use up 2GB Vram and run into the 4GB..
Ok then, waste ur money
I would be interested in seeing the 2GB vs 4GB in surround resolutions like 5760x1080 since that is where extra VRAM would come into play. For single monitor gaming? Yeah, overkill.

Ram at above 2ghz, hyperthreaded cpu at 5ghz on a rog mobo and your telling others they are wasting their money on cards with a little extra vram? Hah!
Ram is cheap, and there was not any lower rated quality sticks in stock when i bought my rig so i had to go with 2133.
CPU is almost golden, so why not @5.0 what kind of waste is that? its only benefit, quit trolling, and the MIVE is one of the most amazing mobos ever, so why not? i rather spend my money on a great mobo then burn 100$ more for 1 fps, adios.
is probably about as beneficial as picking an i7 over an i5.
Not really for rendering and other CPU intensive tasking (multy core optimized programs) the i7 is quite a bit faster.
No problem btw.
Waste of money...
Thank you for that. I love how people say 4gig Vram makes a huge difference without any data to back them up. It's like the idiots saying buy 16 gigs of ram because it's cheap and you may need it one day. Yet you tell them over and over again that it's a waste, you don't even use a quarter of it half the time and by the time you may need it, there will be a new generation of ram thats faster. Same goes for Vram. Unless you're less than the .05% that spends all day trying to make Skyrim look the best on triple monitors instead of just playing it.
I love how people say 4GB VRAM makes no difference because they are unable to make use of it. It's like those 'experts' saying don't buy 16GB of RAM because it's a waste, even though it's cheap and some people actually need that much, and if not, Windows always finds a way to put it to use. Yet you tell them over and over again that if they use more than 4GB they're doing it wrong (heaven forbid if people want to run VMs, RAM drives or have several programs running at the same time, especially while gaming). Same goes for VRAM. Unless you're part of the millions of people who use visual/texture mods who actually want the game to look good so they can enjoy it while playing and not having to shrink textures because 2GB is not enough and causes stuttering.
See, I can do it too.
Basically what you were saying is: anyone who disagrees with you is an idiot.
You want proof? There's plenty on the Internet, look it up. Or do you expect it handed over on a silver platter whilst calling that person an idiot and a noob?
Since I'm such a nice guy, I'll give you some proof:
http://www.hardwareluxx.de/index.ph...-geforce-gtx-680-4-gb-jetstream.html?start=16
Oh, what you say? No one uses those extreme AA settings? Though break, you wanted proof, you have it, you can't choose what you want and ignore the rest.
Hey psyside what res do you run BTW......interested

What I'd like to know is, does the application of extra vram make Skyrim with insane texture packs go from unplayable to playable, or is performance going to be so poor that you are going to end up dropping settings anyway?
