This is probably the coolest LEGO window display you will see all day. The set up is fairly simple but still pretty damn neat, even if you aren't a fan of Star Wars or LEGOs.

That is freakin' awesome. One of my son's thinks Star Wars is real, more real than Santa and the Easter Bunny. Frankly, I guess I'm to blame for that since I and his mother played into it since he was a little boy. He's gonna want one of these for sure.

At first I thought "big deal, boo", but it kept getting more complicated, and the energy shield was pretty impressive, but the huge blast at 0:40 was really well done. I don't like Star Wars much, but I'll give credit where credit is due. That was pretty cool.

Any clue as to how they did it?
A Pepper's Ghost effect, I'd imagine - like the recent "Tupac hologram" thing.
And, yeah, the shield effect was definitely the most compelling one...should have used more of that, rather than just having the shots 'missing' all over the place.
