Panasonic's New 152" Plasma TV is $1M

The pic looks comical. LOL.
I saw one of these at last year's CES. It's hard to grasp the size of that screen.

I don't understand why someone who wanted this size of screen wouldn't just go the projector route.

Would you still go to the movies if you had one of these at home.
Isn't there riaa/mpaa going to sue them now cause you are cutting into your revenues?
they are going to lose millions a year cause of this!!!!!

(I made that figure up like they do)

For 3 million you could build an addition on your house for the sole purpose of a triple screen 3D projector theatre and enough cash left to throw a week long "Hookers and blow party"

Screw that screen. Take a look at the AeroDream One iPod tower. It comes with a ladder! lol

Now I want a pledge from all [H]ard Forum members if one of us hits tonights Megamillions tonight to actually do Eyefinity/Surround with these. lol :D Seriously though, if you hit you gotta get!

You are going to need a time machine to bring back a videocards from the future to get acceptable frame rates in Xfire/Sli

4096x2160

would be 12288x2160 ??

also bring back a nuclear reactor while you are at it to power this thing.

Before you even think of "for 1 million you could..............>>"
If you suddenly had a million the Gub-Ment wants at least half of it.
And if you cannot explain where you got it to their satisfaction, they will take ALL OF IT and likely put you in jail on charges they will figure out later.

Will the proportionally sized remote come with wheels or need to be hard mounted?
I could imagine maybe the help of a trampoline to jump on the buttons.

If it was an Apple tv, would people shoot it, drop, etc? I think not.

Eyefinity or surround 680 sli tests coming soon at H yes?

Ahhh the joys of living in a country where lottery / casino / gameshow winnings are tax-free......

It has the same aspect ratio is 17:9, which they say is used in movies, but not tv or dvds so I assume the idea is digital screenings of movies.

Sorry for the tangent, but this brings up something I've wondered for awhile, when the HD standard was developed why the hell didn't they use the same one used in the theaters since that is what movies already come in?

It's always annoyed me that I got a widescreen HD set and still have the stupid letterboxing on movies.

Sorry rant done, I now return you to the tv comments.

Projectors suck when it comes to brightness and contrast, at least the ones I have seen in store, they are always dark.

Ratios actually vary movie to movie depending on whos shooting it.

Your new television will cost 1 million dollars!

Oh I understand that, but two make the vast majority of the movies made, at least at major studios, so why not go with one of them instead of adding yet another ratio to the mix?
