After a false start six months ago Space X has announced the launch date of April 30th on a resupply mission to the International Space Station. The main mission goal is to test maneuvering and docking procedures in preparation for ferrying astronauts to the ISS.

I'm not holding my breath.

However - it would be awesome if they did, in fact, succeed.

They didn't have any trouble with the first Dragon capsule. They even said a crew would have enjoyed the ride. Now they're testing their thrusters and verifying that all their orbital navigation and ISS docking hardware/software works properly.

Great companies do great things ( of course having a lot of capital to work with helps as well)
