So I finally got time to rebuild and add more attention to detail onto this rig. Nothing to fancy compared to most here in this forum. Any-who, I'll let the pics do the talking ;)

First revision back in July 2011:

And now:

Lapped my processor and waterblock:

Decided to cut out the mesh on the topside of the case for better air intake to radiator

Now this was a must. I definitely had to watercool my video card.
Unfortunately nobody that I know of makes a full vga block for the
non reference design PCB HD Radeon 6950. Thankfully after
researching and looking at the layout of the reference design 6870
PCB, I noticed that both non ref 6950 and ref 6870 share just about
the same layout. Knowing that there are full vga waterblocks for the
6870 I decided to order the Heatkiller X3. And yes... it's a perfect fit!

Ok so my Phobya 200m radiator just came in. Time to install it. I'll be back to post pics of it installed. That's it for now...

great work! I used the 3M 3d-Noc to protect both of my laptop lids with same carbon-fiber design)

Not a fan of all the CF, but quite the loop none the less. Do you like that 200mm rad? I didn't use one in a recent customer build because I couldn't find anyone that had actually used one yet.

The 200mm rad now gives me a total of 440mm cooling surface so yes I like it:D Gives me the flexibility to watercool with ease an additional video card in the near future..

Wow. Looks amazing. Great work. Good lapping skills, too. That CPU looks sexy as hell like that.

I have been trying to cover my radiator a well but is hasn't been easy. Did you prepare the surface in any way? And how did U the corners if the radiator. One piece or multiple pieces. Can you detaile the process a little more and a few more pics?

the line you have going from the rad to the res, it looks like maybe split loom or something over it, can you tell me if it is split loom?
I think it looks nice, I was just wondering if it was some corregated tubing or something like that.

Thanks,
Mike

your 8 pin motherboard cable is not single sleeved.. FAIL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

lol i'm just kidding, this is a spectacular job.. fancy water setup!!
really impressive ^-^

It's actually a anti-kink spring placed over the tubing for the tight bend. Ordered it from performance pcs
