If you thought getting away from killer robots from the future was hard now, wait until they are made of this stuff!

But what if the chip could repair itself like a certain vertically challenged Canadian mutant? That's exactly what researchers at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign managed to do after placing self-healing polymers on top of a gold circuit.

I did this years ago! It's a videocard that when it senses it has failed lowers itself into an oven for 15 minutes! I knew I should have written that patent! :(
