Sometimes it’s not always a bad thing to be the last one to the shindig, and Microsoft just showed up at the door all dressed up and ready to dance. Today Microsoft announced it was integrating Hardoop into future versions of several of Microsoft's platforms, furthering the company’s acceptance of open source software.

“This is a real validation of Hadoop and it’s readiness for primetime,” Baldeschwieler told Wired. “It brings Hadoop to such a large audience, and Microsoft is doing it in an open source way, which is great for everyone involved.”

Was going to say, [H] needs to watch out, Hardocp looks to close to Hardoop, they're going to get a trademark and sue you out of existence!

OMG LULZ i totally misread that as hardOCP i was lieks oh great moar patches now to update my fav website :p

So when are we getting the source code to Windows? Open source that sucker now!

Everytime Microsoft says they support Libre-Software I check the other hand for the poisoned dagger.

Then take an antidote just in case.

I could think of a thousand zingers, but instead I will just lol to myself. :D
