The award for being tasteless-hacker-scumbag-pieces-of-crap goes to these guys. And hackers wonder why the general population despises them. :rolleyes:

"The NBC News twitter account was hacked late this afternoon and as a result, false reports of a plane attack on ground zero were sent to @NBCNews followers. We are working with Twitter to correct the situation and sincerely apologize for the scare that could have been caused by such a reckless and irresponsible act."

Obviously "hackers" from outside America.... most probably a communist 3rd world country, where most of the people simply hate America just because America has more $, and is better than them.
 
The word "Hackers" has too many definitions, all of them are too good for these people.
 
While the end result as an American is appalling, I'm suprised of the clout. It's just twitter.
