Facebook Targets Instagram With Photo Filters

What's that old saying? Something along the lines of "If you can't buy em,' copy them!"

The engineers said Facebook will introduce almost a dozen photo filters, including some that are similar to Instagram like old-style camera lenses and grainy film. Facebook will also try to introduce new styles of filters with the hopes of drawing users away from other photo apps. The engineers also said that Facebook attempted to acquire Instagram over the summer, but to no avail.

Wait so Facebook tried to buy a company, presumably to use their technology, failed, but they're going to use it anyways?

Oh I hope Instagram wins a multi-billion dollar lawsuit against Facebook if true.
 
Does anyone actually use web(sites) to edit photos? Besides 15 year old girls anyway.. I still use good old Jasc Paint Shop Pro 4.
 
I have used Psp since version 4 and still using it through my current PSP X3, for the price it's hard to beat
