Does anyone know if they are giving out the BF3 keys right now or if they wait until launch? I'd like to get the 48-hour-early beta, but it's not that big of a deal for $15.

I think the early beta access is for preorders done through the Origin store only. I preordered BF3 from D2D earlier on, and as far as I know there is no key.

Origin may have deals as well though, they've had quite a few on BF3, so you might want to risk waiting for it. I didn't though, since Origin has to tax me (12%), keep that mind as well since they have a lot of physical distribution centers (and so need to charge tax in more areas, all of Canada for instance).

I am not sure if this would actually work, but for my birthday(in march) EA sent me a coupon for 25% off on anything in their store which I used on BF3 preorder which came out to be around $47 after tax. So I wonder if you sign up to an EA service with a fake birth date that is fairly soon if they'll send you a coupon as well. That way you could get a similar price range and still order through Origin. Once again it's kind of a far fetched plan and I don't even know if it would work.
 
LOL, so does D2D think Americans who save money are "cheapasses," but UK citizens are "savers?" I like their style. :D
