Razer Ultimate Blackwidow Mechanical Keyboard $99 Freeshipping

I like the font that the letters are written in.. Takes me back to my 1st AT keyboard.

i enjoyed switching to a mechanical keyboard although they do take a little bit of getting used to. i personally had gone through 2 of these BWU and eventually just refunded it because i felt the build quality/looks were not up to par for the price

Anyone have experience moving from a good ergonomic keyboard like the Microsoft Natural Ergo Keyboard 4000 (link below) to mechanical? I've been looking at mechanical keyboards for a while, but its always seemed all its advantages are worth nothing if it kills your wrists after a few months of use.

Most people are fine on a normal keyboard especially if they are in the proper typing position.

I like this Keyboard a lot but it's loud.. The build quality is solid and mechanical is a little different I was a little shell shocked at first.. Now you couldn't get me to ever go back to a regular KB...

I moved from ms gaming keyboard to this - no comparison - and it is backlit which works well for me since I game at night..it is very clacky though but very nice...100 bucks is a pretty good deal. Has Macros and what not.

I spent $80 on the non-ultimate edition a month ago.

Thing is pretty great, btw. Highly recommend checking out a mechanical KB if all you've used recently is the mushy kind.

You want a good quality mechanical keyboard that you can hand down to your grandkids???

Unicomp is still manufacturing high quality buckling spring mechanical keyboards that are the same design as the legendary IBM model M. Unicomp currently manufactures IBM/Lexmark based keyboards since purchasing the rights and technology from IBM/Lexmark some years ago.

Not many end users know that they can buy these because Unicomp deals mostly in bulk and with businesses, in fact a large part of their business is making keyboards for pos (point-of-sale) use. But they do have a small online store where you and I can buy their keyboards.

Trust me on this, buy one of these and you'll have a keyboard for life - it will outlast and outweigh anything else you buy...

I reccomend the "Customizer 104/105" but you can also order the "Customizer 101" which is an exact replica of the Model M - even down to lacking those annoying Windows keys. :-D

I've spent over $200 on keyboards in the last three years so I figure that if this lasts for more than 2 years I'm good....

Amazon has it for $103.24 right now. I know it's not quite as good as $99.99 but if someone wanted one and missed it, it's a pretty decent deal.

It's better for those of us who have to pay tax at the Egg. Thanks.
