What is the best monitor-TV combo?

I'm interested in this too. I was reading reviews on the LG5300/5400 and people complain about input lag with PC/Consoles and fuzzy text. Is this true, if so are there other (better) monitor/tvs?
 
I've been looking at the 24" Samsung FX2490HD that NCX has already linked. Cnet also reviewed it, but I tend not to give much regard to what they say.

It's quite pricey for a TN panel, which puts me off slightly as being a TV hybrid it's going to be used mainly for watching videos so I would imagine viewing angles really do matter. I was debating whether it'd be better/cheap to get a decent VA/IPS monitor and couple it with a TV tuner card instead.

The color quality is pretty poor on both of those too (blacks are pretty much grey..).
