Issue with my HP2475 - cant select inputs

My HP2475 hasnt had any issues till now when I plugged in a displayport connection from my macmini. Now it wont let me use the quick select. To change inputs, I disconnect the displayport and then let it scan .... painful

Anything I could do? I dont want the pain of replacing this monitor with another refurb and dealing with HP QC issues. My current monitor works ok .....

any thoughts?

Is quick select set to ON in the OSD when Displaypoprt is bieng used? It's under Video Input Control.

Yes it is on ....

After a few months of this irritating experience, I decided to call HP and ask for replacement. Lets hope I dont get a bad panel. Apart from the display selector issue, my monitor is pretty good. My firmware is GIG068 ... are the newer ones better?
