Move Over Jetsons, I Got Me a Jetpack

Bored of your morning commute? Planes, trains, automobiles not doing it for you? Well later this year you'll be in luck! Maybe one of you knuckleheads won that eBay auction a while back?

Quote:
With a range of 31 miles and a maximum speed of 63 miles per hour, you'll be able to jaunt to the store at will, or to the gas station for a fill-up.

So can it just fly low in garages? If it's really releasing this year, I would hope they could show it in action.

Awesome. Unfortunately though, the FAA seems to be saying that it is alright to fly it as long as it doesn't fly over anything. :P

Why waste money on one of those, when it is sad compared to an ultralight that you can buy anywhere from about 9 to 26 grand?

The ultralights have a much higher range and cost a lot less.

um

That thing looks like little more than an inventive and expensive way to kill yourself. Christ most people can't drive worth a shit. Who in their right mind thinks it's a good idea to add another dimension.
