First I have to give credit to seven9st surfer over at http://www.overclock.net/other-hardware-mods/494272-project-triple-screen-mount.html.

I used the same hardware except that I used 3/4" pipe instead of 1/2". I also used liquid weld to keep the pipes squared.







I also added a bolt at an angle. This can be loosened or tightened to change the angle of the monitors. It also stops them from rolling under on the pipe.

Nice custom stand. One concern I have looking at it is that it looks like it would be really easy to tip it over by bumping it.
 
That's really well done do you have some more screen shots of the back side where you mounted the monitor to the pole?
 
I'm seriously thinking about doing this myself now. How difficult would it be to make a stand that would swivel too?
 
You want the mounts to swivel, of the base of the stand to swivel? Either way, I think it would be very difficult.
