Can someone please tell me what kind of LCD panel is this:

It belongs to an Acer AL2423W Atd Monitor. There are several versions of the same model, with different panels and I am not able to pinpoint if it's a regular PVA, S-PVA or P-MVA. It looks like S-PVA but I'm not sure if regular PVA can have multi-segmented subpixels as well. Thanks.

I'm not at all familiar with *-PVA panels, but having curiosity on the subject I did some Googling.

Seems that it's either S-PVA or P-MVA, as plain PVA apparently doesn't do multi-segmented subpixels. And it's probably not P-MVA, as that seems to have a "six segment" design whereas yours has a "four segment" design.

Maybe you'll get another reply from someone who actually has experience in this.
