oui Unknown CDP

Why is my switch 2960g giving my cisco MAC address (oui Unknown) and CDP (oui Unknown) 66:
?

Is there anyway to tell it what it is?

I don't plan on VLAN trunking anytime soon so can I turn this off or do I need CDP to be running for my hosts?

no cdp run?

I don't see why CDP would be needed for hosts, as all CDP will tell you is what the next hop device is(assuming the next hop is something running CDP)

'no cdp run' under global config and be done with it.

also may wanna do a 'copy run start' in case you ever have to reboot the switch and dont wanna remember to do that command again....
