INTEL X-25M G2C1 & G2GC

I ordered a Intel SSDSA2MH080G2C1 and as far as I am aware that is just a G2 SSD with just the drive, and no extra packaging. According to Intel's website and the pdf document found here the last two characters are just for shipping purposes:




Anyways, the model I received was a SSDSA2MH080G2GC (as it is labeled on the disk its self). Anyone have an idea of what the GC stands for?

My understanding is that C and R refer to OEM and retail packaging, respectively. The only real difference is that the retail box comes with a 3.5"/2.5" adapter for use in desktops.
