No mate no special deals, the switches were $147 shipped.

The Large switch is orange as well, and it will be for power
The small ones will be for the DVDRW eject, reset, pico power, firewall power, and main lighting power.

If I'm not mistaken, you just tap into the power switch on the front of the drive by soldering the wires to the legs of the switch and run the wire externally to wherever you would like the new switch...
any momentary switch will do, but Bulgin switches are the best if you ask me.

Hey Langer... everything is coming along great
I love the torch kit, I need one of those... and those SSDs are nice...
can't wait to see what's next

Big Fan

Langer I have been following your work for about the past month straight. (My girl actually gets pissed when I click on your bookmark in Firefox). This build is actually one of the main reason I signed up for this website (non withstanding the great articles). I am going to be looking to do my first watercooling system shortly and hope to base some of the components and setup off of your example.

Keep posting because god knows if I don't see this mod completed I will be worse than a woman PMS'in

Quick drop in:

I'm headed north for x-mas some what unexpectedly.

My grandfather is due to pass-on any day now and I'd like to see him one last time, so I'll be gone until the 30th.

Solong folks. Have a very merry christmas.

I second the comments from Whoodie... Merry Christmas... and hopes that your new year brings great things.

Sorry for the later post... but consider it retroactive.

That sucks Langer, take your time mate, I had to do the same thing just over a year ago with my gran (I'm glad I saw her).

+2 what Whoodie said.

Thanks a lot folks! I appreciate all the very kind words of support.

My Grandpa is still kicking, even the doctors say he should be in the Guinness book.

About 15yrs ago he was diagnosed with a severe form of Alzheimer's called Picks(sp?). At this point in time he is all but completely brain dead.

He's been in intensive care at a psychiatric hospital for the past few years.
Last year before Christmas we decided not to replace his pace-maker battery - and we were told that once the battery dies so would he... that battery died a year ago now and he's still fighting.

Seeing him now was heartbreaking to say the least. He is on a morphine drip to stay off the pain, he's on oxygen because his lungs are dieing, and he's bed ridden with a 24hr nurse.

He has an average heartbeat of about ~20BPM!!! and is still kicking.

He's always been one of the toughest SOB's I've ever met, and even in the final moments of his life that stands true.

I'm very happy to have seen him one last time - as it's only a matter of time now.
By all medical definitions he should have passed over a year ago, recently he took a turn for the worse and was given only a few days... and now it's nothing short of miraculous that he's still with us.

Thank you very much guys.

I came back from by brief 'holiday' to have this baby waiting for me:

A custom PrometheusCU edition Watercool Heatkiller rev3.0... and DAMN!!! this block is a work of art - the internals alone are dead nuts perfect.

More soon, I'm just getting back into the groove of things on my end.

Damn this build is sick! Keep up the good work and cant wait for the final results. also sorry to hear about your grandfather. I kind of know what your feeling. I lost both of my grandparents years ago within 1 year of eachother. unfortunately it was pretty much a sudden more natural death for them. I always think to myself that I wish I could have seen them more or just before they passed.

Anyway, keep up the great work and will be watching for more results!
