But if they all sit 1 mm higher, it doesn't matter since they all do, it won't look out of place at all.

Looks great man!

Since only the 'letter keys' (more or less) sat 90degrees, I thought it would be cool to have them elevated.. but I wont know until its all together - I'm prepared to modify the other 20 or so keys if I don't like the effect.

@antok86 - thanks man... I'm stubborn and it had to be done.

@Mike160 - Thank you sir, the plan it to keep it up until she's done. =)

@-(Xyphox)- - Thanks man... more coming very soon.

@Bucnasty229 - Thank you. Prometheus is the priority... the car is the debt. Haha

If anyone has wondered where I've been...

well...

I've been having a crap load of fun in the Grand National.. snow is coming soon so I only have a small window to play.

This car is unreal...it kicks like a bloody landmine for those of you in the know about cars here's the magic of my baby:

She pulls just over 11.4seconds in the 1/4 mile at 126mph!!!
To paint you all a picture of comparison:
McLaren F1 11.1s 134mph
Porsche Carrera GT 11.4s 132mph
Chevrolet Corvette Z06 11.5s 127mph
Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren 11.6s 130mph
Ferrari F40 11.7s 125mph
Lamborghini Murcielago LP640 11.8s 126mph
Porsche 959 11.8s 119mph
Pagani Zonda C12 S 7.3 11.8s 129mph
... mind you my Buick will max out at about 145mph.

I had to install new racing radials in order to past the government safety inspection - the first time I used the transmission brake I actually managed to shred rubber off the wheels. I took a look at my scanmaster computer and it was showing 65mph... and the wheels were still peeling out - UNREAL! And once the tires warmed up I found myself with a sore neck at the end of the day. I'm in LOVE!

Back on track...er... off the track as it would be:
I get a Performance PC's delivery tomorrow with 43 items inside.
I get my 2nd pump and some more 90degree swivels from AquaComputer on Friday.
The parts designs have been finalized and I'll be sending the plans out to be manufactured. Water jet cutting, then laser raster engraving, then bending will be done on the copper in the next couple weeks. I'd have sent them already but I want the parts inside the performance PCs package in my hands first - just to be certain of the fit.

Rounding the home stretch now - I've continuously upped the complexity of this project over the past month which hasn't made anything easy and has pushed my completion dates back... but I always say "take your time and do it right." Regardless of that - I can smell the end coming.

Just out of curiosity from someone thinking of building his own case from scratch. How much is the waterjet cutting and bending going to be costing you? Just an aproximation is fine.

Your system is going to be sick sick sick!!!..Cant wait to see the finished product even more then ever......not to mention the times on your GN... Your car is in the ball park of quarter of a million buck rides...thats sick cause really, your GN is a sleeper...you know.. no blower sticking out of the hood, or huge 20 inch slicks in the back. Nice.

@nlancaster - I've actually had the entire fabrication of these parts outsourced - to ensure the precision. The cost for all the fins and the copper parts was... a lot... just over $1200.

@anodize - Thanks man, you and me both... I cant wait to play fallout 3 on this baby - I'm probably one of the biggest fallout fans on this planet. I could probably quote nearly every conversation in the game verbatim. I couldn't imagine how many times I've played though the first 2, and I told myself that I can't plat #3 until this project is complete.

@formula409 - That's why I love it. Already I've had the immense pleasure of destroying a Porsche 911 turbo in a street race... the other driver had no idea what he was up against.

@formula409 - Its top speed is limited because of the gear ratio, it's built for take off... and it does take off... like a Saturn 5 rocket. I have a scanmaster computer that gives a more accurate speed and I've only taken it to about 143, and it doubt I'll be able to squeeze much more from it - without more mods.

I just got the first 3 (1,2 and tactics) from gog.com. Where do I get the rope for the first one so I can get into Vault 15?

@ZMTToxics - Awwe man that's an easy one! You can steal it from Ian - the guy at the gate - in Shady Sands, or he'll give it to you if you kill all the radscorpians in the 'radscorpian caves' for him. As a side note if you find/read the "memoires of the vault dweller" in Fallout 2, he talks about Ian - apparently he got roasted by a flame thrower toting super mutant. Vault 15 is a waste of time anyway, there's nothing but rats and molerats in there - you can find lots of other ropes throughout the game and return at a later date with some armour and weaponry.

One of my parcels arrived today, the one from Performance PCs:
First up the super skinny Black Ice Stealth GT 120mm rad that will cool the mosfets/nb/sb.

I also got a whole bunch of copper ram sinks that I'll be scattering about the motherboard - for pimp value.

With the unnecessary cooling comes a laptop ram cooler for the Pico-ITX ram.

The second loop needed tubing, and I figured 3/8" will more than cover that - my only issue with this tube is that it's a slightly lighter shade of black (also called GREY?!?!? way to drop the ball PPCs!) than my 1/2 tubing... so it will go right into the bin and I'll be ordering more from NCIX (the place where I got my other tubing).

The flash shows well just how GREY this 'black' tubing is.... useless.

In an attempt to minimize my tubing lengths i got a few anti kink coils:

I also needed some dark nickel plated 3/8" bitspower fittings:

I also got some bitspower T fitting for my fill points:

Some G1/4" bitspower male-male adapters:

Two bitspower fillports... that don't have caps... i didn't realize that and I expected some sealed caps and not just though holes.

Space constraints need to me replace one of my 133cfm Scythe fans with a slim Yate Loon (super lame company name IMO) fan.

Some thermal grease... anyone have any experience with this stuff in comparison to AS5?

And lastly some adhesive thermal pads.

Sorry for the crappy pics, lighting is poor in my basement.
Hopefully more updates tomorrow if my next Aquacomputer package arrives.

Thanks for tuning in... tune in tomorrow. Same Bat time, Same Bat channel.

Gah, well I ended up in junk town and I have to plant the bug on Gizmo. How do I do that? I talked to him too much and he blew me away!

I used thermal grease once, and found it runny as hell. Got all over my cpu and in my socket. Either it was defective, or all thermal grease is a waste of time and paste is the way to go. Only reason I didn't use AS5 that day was because the store ran out. Ruined my day.

@ZMTToxics - All you need to do is activate the reel-reel part of the bug and have it in your inventory, then hold the bug in your hand while you talk with him.

I never would have figured that. Total disadvantage to getting the games from gog.com is that there are no user manuals.
