Keep getting IMs from a possible scammer

This guy with the AIM name "itsmypostoffice" has dugg up 2 of my old FS threads (1 each day for the past 2 days) and IMed me about it, offering more than I was asking. Both times they were previously sold though. He also asked if I was "selling anything else?" It seems he really wants to make some kind of transaction and it seems fishy. Also, he seemed to completely forget today that he had tried me yesterday already.

Is he a member here or not?

Not that I can find in search but I figured Id post just incase anyone gets a message from him and searches for his name to check him out.

He said he found my username on this forum though.

Almost 100% a scam....the "PM Scammers" were running around here a few months ago too...

I forgot to mention the really scammy part.

The first IM asked me if I was selling my PSP still. I sold it almost a year ago but I had listed a WTB thread about 2 days asking for another PSP. When he asked me about my PSP, I told him I was looking for a PSP not selling one, he responded "Oh, my friend is selling his PSP for $100. Message him". Also, when I asked him what firmware the PSP was, he said he'd ask "his friend" and immediatly responded with "2.80" as if his friend was in the room. Why is he asking me for a PSP if his friend that is right there with him is selling one, esp that cheap?

Scammer IMO. Just ignore his IMs.

yeah I got scammed out of an 8800GTX (Cross-trade) but I had a friend going up to Canada and he paid him a visit and got my Card back!! lmao the kid is 15 years old, his parents thought he won it from a contest and now hes like...I don't know, in more shit than he can bare!

I wish I was there to see his face!!

god I love stories like this. Please make a thread on this, with all details. We need good news about trolls getting paid back in full + interest.

Itsmypostoffice is a scammer, he offered to sell me an n64 with like 10 games and 2 controllers for 20$ shipped.

They can ban for whatever reason they want its their site you dont have some magical internet rights to be a member of hardforums.
