Hey all, I am trying to gather data from here, EOC and XS about how these 8 series cards are clocking for people.
I am going to do as "Thread" did at EOC and create a spreadsheet with user names and the clocks they have achieved. It will contain data from the three sites in a big spreadsheet with the following info:
- Username
- Brand/Model
- Core/Mem Clock
- Cooling method
- Idle/Load Temps
- Misc info. i.e. - volt mods, thermal paste changed, bios mod etc..
*** If you would like, you can include a 3DM06 score (link would be helpful) and your CPU specs so we can see how the overclocks help. (thanks MassiveOverkill!)***
(for those of you that have already posted your clocks, feel free to edit your post with the '06 scores and CPU specs. I will run through the thread again to check for them when I update the chart.)
So if you guys could provide the info above, I will gather all the data together for one big spreadsheet. I was very interested in the results over at EOC, and hope that we can discuss these results more.
Please! If you do participate, take a look at this first: LINK . This is to be sure you are reporting accurate clocks, and getting the most out of your card. Saying that you are running "660" core is a dead giveaway that you have not read about how these cards clock
Feel free to suggest any other info you guys think may be a good idea to include.
I understand that there is already a thread about everyones clocks here at the [H] ( link ), and I will more than likely go through it and pull out the info I am looking for, but that thread was based on if the vanilla cards can clock to SC speeds, and it kind of morphed into a post your clocks thread. I am starting this one in the hope of possibly pulling in more people and to more specifically discuss the in's and out's of clocking the 8 series cards.
Update: June 28th
Wow, I've been away for what feels like ages.. I just got done moving into a new home and have finally had some time to mess around on the 'puter. I volt modded my core and have reached 729 with 1.4V! I am testing further to be sure it is stable at this speed, but it is looking good so far!
Anyways, I updated the charts with what I could find, and I would also like to mention that some people have shown interest in including 3DM06 scores and cpu specs to better gauge the performance difference that overclocking these cards has.
