WTB: Pentium 4 Northwood (512/400) 2.4-2.6 CPU

Hi guys,

I'm looking for a Pentium 4 Northwood, 400MHz bus, 512K cache processor at either 2.4, 2.5, or 2.6GHz.

You can offer other processors also. I'm looking to pay < $50

I'm replacing a P4 1.8.

For reference, I need a 400MHz bus processor, not a 533 or 800.
 
well cant it run the other chips just at slower speed? i have a 2.0 / 400 bus for dirt cheap
 
It's a vista machine, currently has a 1.8 (which is a 3.0 score) so I'm looking for something near the top of its limitations (2.4-2.8) on a 400MHz bus or i'll find myself looking to upgrade again.
 
i guess it would take a 3.06 ghz 800 bus cpu to = 2.4 ghz 400 bus wow learned something today thanks.. now i wonder if you can oc back to spec if you do this
 
I have a 2.4/533..lmk if this will work for you.....its a great overclocker too :)
 
I have a Northy 2.4/400 ready to go..$55 to your door..LMK..
 
If you have not found one by Sunday I should have a 2.5/400 northwood when I get back in town.
I am upgrading a family members computer and that is what he has.
