Got my Raptor 74G 16MB !!...But if feels slower than my 7200rpm WD???

Got it in today and its all up and running, reinstalled Vista RC1 and the performance it about the same and possibley slightly worse, Boot times are not better at all i would say.

How can i test it out?

HDtach does not work on Vista :cry:

The best way to test the performance of any drive is to simply time boot up and application load times with a stopwatch. You'd have to have the exact image on each drive for valid results though, which is easy with a disk copy feature on all hdd manufacturer's disk tools.
