HP SCSI LTO Drive
We already have a disk-to-disk back-up san in place, but we are across a wan connection so we are installing an additional SCSI LTO tape drive....this scsi chain needs to be terminated like any other, correct?
The drive is an external HP Storageworks 460 Ultrium LTO 2 connected to a HP U320 Single Channel SCSI card. Thanks for any help.

Yes - you will need a terminator to plug onto the second connector on the external tape unit or the last device on the chain if you have other devices connected after the tape unit.

The golden rule of SCSI: Every SCSI bus must have exactly two terminators. One at each end of the bus. Words to live by
