HDD wont spin up :(

I scavenged a maxtor 200GB drive from a old computer, formatted and used it for space, it isnt very old, i have a 250GB same type drive and use it under my most sensitive data, never had probs with it, but anyway i moved pretty important data to that drive and now it suddenly wont spin up (thats what i think it is) any suggestions of how i can get the data back? Thanks.

try using another molex to power it instead. it isnt everyday that a drive doesnt at least spin... if you have another hard drive, thats exactly the same, you can try to change the pcb on it to see if it powers up. otherwise, you can send it to data recovery services, which costs a lot of $ if you have to have the data, but if it's only adult movies or such, then it's probably not worth it

Changed molex and disconnected 2 fans from it, changed ide cable, it worked, when starting up it did a disk check and showed something called "bad sector crap" anyway it worked out, im copying the data now, thanks. Btw what is this "bad sector" and is this drive reliable from now on?
