not enough space??

I am trying to burn a dvd, but it apparantly needs to be recoded first. I am using nero 7 ultra and have done the exact same processi am trying to do before. This time i do the same thing and when i click burn a message saying, " There is not enough space available for the recording process: There are 2778 MB available for temporary files in the folder 'C:/ Docume~1/ Adm1n\Lcoals~1\temp', but the recording process will need approximatley 4568 mb.
Now i tried to find that folder and its not there. How do i make it so it has enough room ? any help is great thanks

Um, if there is not enough space on your Harddrive, clean some of it up already? If you ask how to clean it up, you should turn in your hard forum membership at the door.

Nero makes an temporary image file of the disc you are making, you need enough free space to equal the size of the DVD you are burning (as nero points out).

Actually this reply is not correct.
I get the same error message as jeeper07 and I have 135gb free space on my drive.
Therefore, the amount of free hdd space has NOTHING to do with this error!!!

Can anybody else offer some constructive assistance please???

right click on the recycle bin and disable it. that will give you a few gigs. delete all system restore points except the last, that will give you a few more. and also lower the amount of space it takes up, that will give you a few more. delete all garbage and temp internet files from the drive. do those things and you'll gain plenty of space. you can also shrink the page file if you want even more. oh yeah, then reboot.

Click the configure button in Nero and select the Cache Tab, this is where you can select which Drive to use as a temporary drive for burning images. Select a partition that has enough space and it should work.
