So is 43% SMART fitness normal for a new HD?

So I cloned my dying 120 GB disk to a fresh new 320 GB disk.

I checked SMART status for the new disk when I installed it and it was 100 % fitness.

But today when I check it it is 43 % fitness, just like the old disk I replaced!

I am checking SMART status in Speedfan. Is this normal figures for a new disk or did the old fitness got transfered when I cloned the old harddrive to this new one?

I would not rely on speedfan for smart status..download the HD manufacturers utilities and use them.
