You honestly think pics are gonna make the seller more credible? There are millions of pics out there, and just because he has it in his possession doesn't mean you're not gonna get scammed. I am by no means calling OP a scammer, but just warning people not to buy from those without references because pics/ebay are worthless.

having pics with ur name does help a little. no reason to assume someone is trying to scam without any proof.
