A friend of mine wants to buy the SS-M12ii 750 ( http://www.seasonicusa.com/M12II-Bronze-650-750-850.htm ).
The problem is that i can't find reviews for this particular PSU.
I have found review for the old SS-M12ii 620 here at [H] ( http://www.hardocp.com/article/2010/05/18/seasonic_m12ii620_power_supply_review/#.VJKQbXuQBgw ), which performs mediocrely on the voltage regulation area & and during transient load tests, due to its older design.
On the other hand i found a review for the newer SS-M12ii 850 EVO Edition at JG ( http://www.jonnyguru.com/modules.php?name=NDReviews&op=Story&reid=356 ), where it performs much better
The question is, which from the 2 platforms the SS-M12ii 750 is based. If it has been similarly designed with the M12ii 620, i think it should be avoided, while if it's more close to the design of the M12ii 850 EVO, that makes it a very solid choice.
Any opinions?

Most likely based on the older design. I don't think it should be avoided as long as the price is right. Tight regulation doesn't do anything over looser regulation but still in ATX spec, unless you're overclocking to the limits where every little fluctuation matters. Sure it's nice to have better regulation and whatnot, and you would be crazy to buy an inferior PSU at the same price as a better one, but if the price matches the performance, I see no reason not to get it.
